From the windOw of a 3rd perSon

He is one with a mind which searches for a meaning to life and is intellectually very stimulating. He perceives things with an eye for opportunity and has an admirable manner of expressing himself verbally. His vibrant mental capacity sometimes makes him seem confined or restless.

He is able to assert himself with ease and dynamism, in which she finds him to have an intriguing sense of sensuality and sexuality. He is quite compulsive about whatever attracts or repels him. She believes he is aware of his pronounced power potential because it never elicits a bland response from others. This underlying sting of his. Such raw energy that he possessed can be anything from healing to almost murderous. His make for being a formidable lover – or enemy.

She thinks he is grappling with the idea of affection and love; striving to gain an objective view of these emotional involvements without becoming uninvolved altogether. In order to gain this objectivism, she finds him at times emotionally alienated. A thing she yearns for and struggle with.

She's basically a hippie Christian girl. She’s afraid she is becoming one of those self-righteous superior a**holes. However, much of what she does is boundaried by the illusive moral compass. She had thought of being a nun. If anyone should asked what happened, why that didn’t, "Puberty."

She is pretty hard-core. Her thoughts on the how things work and should work are clear. It's apparent from how she talks, she's an idealist.

You can tell she is a bit stunned by him and she is not sure how to deal with it. She’d already know that being with him may be strenuous and challenging - but it is also passionate and engaging.

She is one of those people who cannot understand why anyone would ever ever want to do harm consciously. What these two characters - both with passionate beliefs – opposed at times to one another ideologically - and yet amused with the other's conviction - have; as is obvious, a rarity.

To some degree, she sometimes becomes so disenchanted from the very lack of him that she feels she had to check out entirely. But she realizes she should appreciate what is and not just what could be. There is multiple viewpoints of one picture. Each may be contradictory as it is all true. It's not wholly in opposition. She never wants to come off as being ridiculous. She believes in God, she believes in a just universe. She also, because she knew him, believes that if anyone is truly good natured in the most dire of circumstances, he would be the one.

So, on some level, she holds him in contempt. And on some level, he holds her in contempt. It's not a question of being diametrically opposed. They really talk. It feels real. He makes things real to her. What is great about the way it is; is that it does not become a petty argument. He listens. She argues. He argues. She listens. At one point, he grins at her, and you can see her suddenly get nervous. In that moment, she is not her beliefs; she is a girlfriend, nervous. Nervous about the future, and how this dynamic will play itself out.

She is surprised. How and why an unlikely pair worked, came this far and why it dodges its own traps so deftly. She’s amazed she cared for him this much.

On a wild night, driven more by weariness than good sense, King Zeus agreed to let his daughter do it differently. She didn't want to just get married and sit out some war, while her man, god or not, underwent the ritual metamorphosis from palace prince to craggy hero.

By morning she had packed and set off for her new life in the woods. She wanted to be alone. In her solitude she discovered something very odd. She had envied men their long-legged freedom to roam the world and return full of glory to wives who only waited. She knew about history-makers and the home-makers, the great division that made life possible.
Without rejecting it, she had simply hoped to take on the parts of the freedoms that belonged to the other side. What if she travelled the world and the seven seas? Would she find something different or the old things in different disguises?

She found that the whole world could be contained in one place because that place was; You.
Nothing had prepared her for this.

The Two Kinds of Secrets

There are two kinds of secrets: Those we keep from others and those we keep from ourselves. Something have indeed shifted. The latter makes the former even more significant to keep. Em needs courage to uncover the latter before deciding on the former.
Everyone seems to hear what I've got to say but only true friends listen to what I say. Most of all, I hope you'd be able listen to what I don't say. Even if all you hear is d clickality-clack-clack. It's not easy. Em never said it was.
It's that nagging feeling.
All there is; is within and yet beyond reach.
To walk or keep walking.
The answer will uncover both the above posed.
